Just few days after its announcement, we now have enough sample images to evaluate the image quality of the new Nikon D700. But there are also still things you get over D3 like vibration based dust reduction, expanded function button and built-in flash.

UPDATE 2!!

A German photography magazine ProfiFoto published a 2-page presentation of the new Nikon D700 Full Frame DSLR. The official announcement from Nikon is expected to be tomorrow, on the 1st of July. The magazine delayed this issue 5 days to become the first one with the official D700 specs. The new SB900 flash from is Nikon also presented in the magazine.

Lighting is relatively a difficult part of Photography and generally requires high technical knowledge. Many people get intimidated when they with the idea of off-camera lightning and that is where this perfectly written eBook comes in to play. Could this be the strongest evidence of the upcoming D700, affordable FF DSLR from Nikon?

DigitalDepot.co.uk, an online retailer from UK, already published a page for the Nikon D700. This site claims that the Nikon will announce the D700 on Monday, 30th of June. I am not sure how reliable this info is but definitely very interesting. One thing I noticed was that how the silhouette looked like Nikon D3 body, instead of the D300 body as expected.

Fujifilm have released a new firmware update for its popular 12x optical zoom digital camera, the FinePix S1000fd.

Update Version 1.03 fixes the following issues: 

1- The brightness of the captured images when 'EVF/LCD mode' is set to 60fps is darker than that set to  30fps 
2- Some words in some languages which have error of spelling, are displayed on the EVF/LCD screen.
