It is good to see the price competition going on in sub-$3.000 FF DSLR market (thanks to the introduction of Sony A900 and Canon 5D Mark II) which was once represented only by the old Canon 5D. Nikon has already started discounting its popular D700 and the price dropped down to $2.500. I am not expecting to see FF prices breaking $2.000 soon (except the 5D which has already broken it) so if you believe the FF is the way to go, then no need to wait for a better price, just buy one and enjoy.
